The CORT program is working with other organizations conducting trainings for their membership and at special events.  The concept is for local clubs to provide the location and a contact person for trainee sign up/direction information.  We will schedule the WDFW officer; provide all the materials and an EITW Volunteer Training Coordinator to assist at the class.

  • Must have power available within 50'
  • A projector screen or white wall
  • Be open at least 1 hour prior to class for set up

Scheduling a CORT class:

  • Contact the CORT Program Director for scheduling
  • Classes are being scheduled at least 60 days out
  • Choose 2 dates, a primary and an alternate
  • The CORT Program Director submits the request to WDFW Enforcement with your requested dates.
  • The Enforcement confirmation occurs within 30 days
  • Advertise the class in your organizations newsletter
  • Eyes In The Woods will advertise the date on our website calendar

Retail Business Locations

Commercial businesses can host trainings and must meet the location requirements.  We encourage business involvement and hope to develop more retail training centers.

Example: EITW Regularly conducts trainings at Bob's Sporting Goods in Longview WA, Bob Schlecht is an EITW Sponsor, assisting with class registration and advertising.  After several years of working with Bob, his family store is our South West Washington training center.
